Boiler Repair, Maintenance and Installation in Wenatchee

Boilers heat with hot water instead of blowing air, which makes them quiet and even, but they need someone who knows hydronic systems. We repair, service and replace residential boilers and the radiant floors, baseboard and radiators they feed, across our whole service area.

No heat or a leaking relief valve? What to check first ↓

When to call

Signs your boiler needs attention.

  • Some rooms or zones stay cold while others heat.
  • Banging, gurgling or kettle-like noises in the boiler or pipes.
  • Water around the boiler, or the pressure relief valve dripping.
  • The pressure gauge reads well above or below where it normally sits.
  • The burner lights and shuts off over and over.
  • Fuel bills climbing with no change in how you use the heat.

Smell gas or a CO alarm is sounding?

Get everyone outside, then call your gas utility or 911 from there. Don't go back in until they say it's safe. After that, call us to find and fix the boiler problem.

How it works

Boiler heat compared with a forced-air furnace.

A boiler heats water and pumps it through pipes to the rooms. A furnace heats air and pushes it through ducts. Neither one is right for every house.

Boiler (hot water) Forced-air furnace
How heat reaches rooms Radiant floors, baseboard or radiators Ducts and floor or wall registers
What it feels like Quiet, even warmth with no blowing air Faster warm-up, some air movement and noise
Cooling Needs a separate system, such as ductless mini-splits Central AC or a heat pump can share the ducts
Filtration None built in Filters and air cleaners at the furnace

Already have a boiler and want air conditioning? Ductless mini-splits add cooling without ductwork. Prefer a forced-air system? See furnaces and heat pumps.

Boiler questions

Boiler FAQ

Do you repair and replace residential boilers?

Yes. We repair, maintain and replace residential boilers and the hydronic systems they run, including radiant floors, baseboard and radiators, in every town in our service area.

How often should a boiler be serviced?

Once a year, ideally in the fall before the heating season. A yearly check catches worn parts, pressure problems and combustion issues before they leave you without heat.

Why is my boiler's relief valve dripping?

Usually the system pressure is too high, often from a failing expansion tank or a fill valve that lets in too much water. The relief valve is a safety device, so don't plug it. Call us to find the cause.

Why are some rooms cold with a boiler?

Common causes are air trapped in the lines, a stuck zone valve, a failed circulator pump or a thermostat problem. A technician can check each one.

Can I add air conditioning to a home with a boiler?

Yes. Because boiler homes usually have no ducts, ductless mini-splits are the most common way to add cooling.

What does a boiler repair visit cost?

A dispatch fee by town, $119 around Wenatchee and $149 to $279 farther out, plus a diagnostic fee of $72 to $130. The technician quotes the repair price before starting.
