River country
Summer heat settles into the river canyon and stays, and winter brings hard frosts and cold air sliding down off the hills. A system up here has to cool through August and heat through January without much of a break in between.
Homes range from orchard houses and older places in town to manufactured homes and newer builds above the river.
Two towns, two utilities
We don't claim a utility rebate in either town. Here's why, and what to check.
Pateros is in Okanogan County, and Okanogan County PUD supplies the power. We haven't verified a current heat pump or ductless program there, so we don't quote one. Ask the PUD directly before you buy if a rebate would change your decision.
Bridgeport is in Douglas County, on Douglas PUD. Douglas PUD has no rebates at this time, so the installed prices on this page are what you'd pay.
Those are Chelan PUD programs for Chelan PUD customers. They don't apply in Pateros or Bridgeport.

Both towns are outside Chelan County, which puts them in our fourth dispatch level.
Weekdays during office hours, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Based on whether finding the fault takes up to 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
The technician gives you the price first. Dispatch and diagnostic aren't credited toward it.
After 5 p.m., on weekends and on holidays, plus the diagnostic. Our after-hours emergency service covers both towns.
AA Comfort Club members ($300 per system a year, or $25 a month) get a spring and a fall visit, half-off dispatch and 15% off parts and labor, not counting refrigerant gases or filters. On a $279 dispatch, that half matters.

Estimates for new systems are free. The range depends on the size of the home, the equipment tier and any electrical or duct work.

Pateros and Bridgeport questions
Yes. Both towns are in our service area, and we offer every service there, from furnace repair to new heat pumps and electrical work.
$279 on weekdays, plus a diagnostic fee of $72 to $130 depending on time. After 5 p.m., on weekends and on holidays the dispatch is $330 plus the diagnostic. Neither fee is credited toward the repair.
