Chelan PUD
Wenatchee, Cashmere, Leavenworth, Entiat, Chelan, Manson and the rest of Chelan County. Heat pump and ductless conversion rebates are available. Details below.
Douglas PUD
East Wenatchee, Rock Island, Orondo and Badger Mountain. Douglas PUD has no heat pump rebates at this time.
Grant PUD
Quincy and nearby towns. Since January 1, 2026, heat pump rebates are only for conversions from a different heating system. Replacing a heat pump doesn't qualify. Ask us for the current amount.
Cascade Natural Gas
Gas customers, including in East Wenatchee. 2026 furnace rebates apply to models rated 95% AFUE or higher installed on or after March 15, 2026. Ask us for the current amount.
Kittitas PUD and City of Ellensburg
Cle Elum, Suncadia and Ellensburg. We haven't verified current programs yet, so ask us before you count on a rebate.

- Price the system. Start online with the instant price tool, or have us look at the house.
- Pre-approval. In Chelan PUD territory we submit the pre-approval before any equipment is ordered.
- Install. The system goes in to the program's equipment requirements.
- Utility decision. The utility reviews the project and decides the rebate.

For qualifying 2026 commercial applications: $2,400 per qualifying ton to convert from electric resistance heat, and $400 per ton for a qualifying heat pump upgrade. Pre-authorization is required before installation. Commercial heat pump incentives →

Utility rebate FAQ
Do I have to apply for the Chelan PUD rebate myself?
No. Alpine Aire handles the Chelan PUD pre-approval paperwork. Chelan PUD reviews the project and decides the rebate.
Can I get a rebate for replacing my gas furnace with a heat pump?
Not from Chelan PUD. Its conversion rebate is only for homes switching from an electric forced-air furnace. Gas homes can add a heat pump as a dual fuel system, and Cascade Natural Gas has its own furnace rebates.
Is there a rebate in East Wenatchee?
Douglas PUD, which serves East Wenatchee, has no heat pump rebates at this time. Cascade Natural Gas furnace rebates can still apply to gas customers there.
Is the rebate a discount from Alpine Aire?
No. Rebates are paid by the utility under its own rules. We help you qualify and handle the paperwork where the utility allows it.
