Built for the upper county
Cle Elum and Suncadia sit higher and snowier than the Wenatchee Valley, and the heating season starts early and ends late. A heat pump that's undersized or parked in a snowdrift will struggle by January.
We come over the pass on US-97 from our Wenatchee shop for the walk-through and the install, and the same team handles service afterward.
Cold-climate equipment. We size the system to the home's heating load and choose models built to keep producing heat in sustained cold.
Backup for the deepest cold. Electric heat strips in the air handler, or a gas furnace with dual fuel, carry the house when the outdoor unit can't do it alone.
Up out of the snow. The outdoor unit goes on a raised stand, away from roof drip lines and sliding snow, with room to drain during defrost.

Utility incentives
Suncadia gets its power from Kittitas PUD, and we haven't verified a current Kittitas PUD heat pump program, so we don't promise one. Cle Elum homeowners should ask the utility named on their bill. Chelan PUD's heat pump incentives are for Chelan County customers and don't apply here.
How it goes
We install Carrier, Lennox, Bosch, Mitsubishi and other leading brands, and Alpine Aire is a Carrier Factory Authorized Dealer.
A free estimate at the house. We measure the heating load, look at the ducts and the panel, and pick a spot for the outdoor unit clear of snow slides. If you're out of town, a property manager can meet us.
You get options side by side and approve the price before any work starts.
Our crew sets the stand and outdoor unit, connects the indoor equipment and wiring, and tests heating and cooling.
The manufacturer's parts warranty (up to 10 years on Carrier) plus our own 1-year parts and labor. Replacing an old R-22 system? We no longer use R-22, so we quote a new one instead.

Second homes and vacation properties
Plenty of Suncadia homes sit empty between visits. A heat pump can keep them safely above freezing at a low setting, as long as a few things are in place.
Leave the system heating at a low setting while you're gone. Backup heat covers the coldest nights so the pipes don't freeze.
A Wi-Fi thermostat lets you check the indoor temperature from home. Turn on any low-temperature alert it offers.
After a big storm, a property manager or neighbor should brush snow away from the outdoor unit so it can breathe.
A $179 maintenance visit, or a Comfort Club membership with spring and fall visits, catches small problems before the house is left alone.
