Which rebates apply to your home?
Your electric utility account decides it, not your ZIP code. Here's the short version.
Chelan PUD
- $3,300 potential utility incentive for a qualifying ducted heat pump replacing an electric furnace
- $1,600 for qualifying ductless in a site-built home, $2,000 in a manufactured home, $1,000 per unit in buildings with 5+ units
- Up to $4,300 for income-qualified households
- We file the pre-approval before equipment is ordered
Rebates are provided and approved only by Chelan PUD. Amounts and eligibility are subject to change. Ask us about standard heat pump rebates.
Douglas PUD and others
Douglas PUD, which serves East Wenatchee, Rock Island and Orondo, has no rebates at this time.
In Ellensburg, the City of Ellensburg runs its own conservation program for homes with electric heat; check with the City before you buy.
Gas furnace homes switching to all-electric generally don't qualify for the Chelan PUD conversion incentive.

Who handles the Chelan PUD rebate paperwork?
We do. Alpine Aire files the Chelan PUD pre-approval before any equipment is ordered.
Does Douglas PUD offer heat pump rebates?
Not at this time. Douglas PUD, which serves East Wenatchee, Rock Island and Orondo, has no rebates right now.
What financing is available?
Salal Credit Union financing from 4.99%, with terms up to 144 months, on approved credit, for new heat pumps, furnaces and ductless systems.
