Chelan PUD lists a potential utility incentive of $3,300 for a qualifying ducted heat pump replacing an electric furnace, and $1,600 to $2,000 for qualifying ductless. Douglas PUD has no rebates at this time.

Is your AC older and running on R-22?
R-22 refrigerant is no longer produced, and we no longer use it. If an R-22 system is low on refrigerant, replacing it is usually the realistic fix. We'll price both a new air conditioner and a heat pump so you can compare.

Should I replace my AC with a heat pump?
Often, yes. A heat pump cools the same way an air conditioner does and also heats, so it can cut furnace use in milder weather. If you heat with an electric furnace in Chelan PUD territory, the switch may also qualify for a potential utility incentive.
Do you repair older air conditioners that use R-22?
We no longer use R-22. We can diagnose an older system and price a replacement air conditioner or heat pump for you.
Do you offer emergency AC repair?
Yes. After-hours emergency cooling service is available in every town we serve, with a $330 after-hours dispatch fee plus the diagnostic.
When should I service my air conditioner?
In spring, before the first hot week. A tune-up is $179 per system, and AA Comfort Club members get it as part of their two yearly visits.
Why are some rooms hotter than others?
Leaky or undersized ducts, a long run to an upstairs room, or a system that's too small are the usual causes. Duct sealing or a ductless unit for the hot room are common fixes.
Is financing available for a new AC?
Yes. Financing through Salal Credit Union starts at 4.99% with terms up to 144 months, on approved credit.
