Chelan PUD residential customers, applications received April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027. New equipment must rate at least 7.5 HSPF2 and 14.3 SEER2, and Chelan PUD pays the incentive, not Alpine Aire. Rules: Chelan PUD heat pump rebates(checked Oct. 19, 2026).

Income-qualified households may be eligible for up to $4,300 on a ducted conversion once Chelan PUD's enhanced program opens.

What moves your number.

Prices are October 2026, before tax. A vertical air handler costs $500 less than a horizontal one, while long line sets to a lake-level unit, snow stands and electrical panel upgrades add to it. The online quote asks about your house before it prices a system.

How a Lake Chelan install comes together.

  1. Price it or book a visit. Get a number online, or have a comfort advisor walk the house with you or your property manager.
  2. We file with Chelan PUD. The utility only takes pre-approval requests from the contractor, and it has to approve before equipment is bought.
  3. Second home? We check eligibility. We confirm with Chelan PUD whether a part-time house or rental qualifies.
  4. Install day. A caretaker can let the crew in if you can't make the drive. We test heating and cooling before we leave.
  5. Set it for the empty weeks. A connected thermostat lets you hold a freeze-safe temperature and warm the place before you arrive.
